Criteria & Process

Would you like to nominate yourself or another woman+ owned business to be featured on the Spend. guide? We can’t wait to hear from you!

Some of the criteria on which we base our selected businesses on the guide include:

  • • The business must be owned or co-owned by a self-identifying woman.
    • The business offers stellar products, excellent service.
    • The business gives back to the community and/or is climate conscious.
    • The business is based in Salt Lake City, UT, and surrounding areas. This includes: offices, online, or/and storefronts.
    • The business has been nominated and advocated frequently by different people. Nominating a business more than once will not be considered.

*In our final selection process, we also prioritize women of color and LGBTQ-owned businesses.
