We are in the building phase of our organization and are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual who would be a crucial player in our dynamic and evolving team. 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Strategic Marketing & Special Projects Intern will help manage our social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, UP, Youtube), administer digital ad campaigns, support the management of our Mighty Networks digital community, strategic marketing via YouTube, LinkedIn as well as digital strategy development. In addition, as time allows, this will include research projects that will focus primarily on the topics of women and money, technology and education. This role may also include tasks related to our SheMoney office facilities, offsite storage, equipment and supplies under the direction of SheMoney management. As both a strategic marketing and special projects intern, the person in this position must remain flexible to accomplish tasks to support both SheMoney needs as they arise. This may include ordering/picking up of craft services for special meetings and events, data entry and running errands as needed for our diverse projects. The position is part-time and somewhat flexible depending on the availability and schedule of the applicant. Ideally, applicants could be available to work in the Park City office 1-3 days per week with some remote work. This position may require flexibility based on special events, early/late meetings, etc.. This position is best suited for individuals who have great interpersonal skills as well as experience and expertise in social media marketing management. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Social Media General Management to include; Manage incoming LinkedIn requests and messages, preparing Instagram posting and management, UP posts/reels/quotes from event photography and instagram posting. Organize and strategically post on YouTube in a regular cadence managing number of views etc. Some management of Mighty Networks virtual community platform. 

  2. Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.

  3. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

  4. Stay Up-to-Date with Marketing Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in marketing to ensure the company’s strategies remain competitive and innovative.

  5. Manage office facilities: ensuring that offices are maintained in a proper manner: 

    1. Maintain common areas ensuring that they are organized and tidy. 

    2. Manage offsite storage unit 

    3. Booking out conference rooms, event spaces and podcast recording studios when needed. 

  6. Reporting: Maintain a diligent report of hours worked, general work completed, and submit to SheMoney management on a bi-weekly basis. 

  7. Special Projects: Work on special research projects as needed with a likely focus on women and money. Research will include landscape mapping, profile research, and tracking relevant reports on gender-impact investing, giving and action. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills 

  • Strong working knowledge of GoogleSuite, including Gmail, Word, Excel (And/or App equivalent of Pages, Numbers, Apple Mail) 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 

  • Strong research skills 

  • Adobe Creative Suite know-how is a plus 

  • Photography and Videography skills are an attractive bonus 

  • Video and audio editing skills also an added bonus

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Develop hands-on experience in social media management across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Mighty Networks).

  • Learn how to plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns. 

  • Gain proficiency in tracking and analyzing marketing performance using analytics tools to inform strategic decisions.

  • Strengthen project management and organizational skills by handling special research projects and office facility management.

  • Deepen understanding of gender, financial equity, and social impact through research on women and money.

  • Enhance interpersonal and communication skills through team collaboration and professional networking.

  • Develop flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

  • Build technical skills in content creation, including basic photography, videography, and Adobe Creative Suite (if applicable).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

The employee is regularly required to clearly communicate with others in-person, over the phone, and via other devices. Must be able to learn new systems and procedures, prepare written communication, and constantly operate a computer and other standard office machinery.  position requires occasional movement throughout the office to access files, papers, or supplies weighing up to 25lbs. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Position will be a fluid blend of remote work and time in an office space depending on co needs. Ability to travel to and from Park City is required. 

SALARY INFORMATION & FLSA STATUS 

This is a non-exempt position; hourly rate commensurate with experience. This internship is for a fixed period of three months, with the potential of a longer term position based on performance.
